Get Your GBCI CE Credits at DesignColumbus 2019

Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) is an independent organization that recognizes excellence in the green business industry. GBCI credential holders must earn general continuing education (CE) hours, defined as activities that are relevant to general green building concepts, such as environmental sustainability or human health and wellness. GBCI also offers the following project certifications and professional credentials: LEED, EDGE, GRESB, Parksmart, PEER, SITES, TRUE and WELL. (Any activity that counts as general CE hours for one credential may count for other GBCI credentials.)

According to the USGBC:

  • The LEED AP BD+C credential suits professionals with expertise in the design and construction phases of green buildings serving the commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors.
  • The LEED AP ID+C professional credential serves participants in the design, construction and improvement of commercial interiors and tenant spaces that offer a healthy, sustainable and productive work environment.
  • LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED ND) was engineered to inspire and help create better, more sustainable, well-connected neighborhoods.
This year DesignColumbus is excited to be offering the following GBCI credits:
